Hi! We’re Bo and Jasper. I’m Bo on the left and that’s my brother Jasper on the right. This is a picture of us at Tom’s house about one month after we moved in, he’s a really cool friend. Back in late summer of 2013, we needed a new place to stay since Monica and Steve were planning on traveling outside the country and we couldn’t go with them because of where they were going.
They decided to put this picture on the Rescue Me! website to help us find a new home, that’s when Tom came into the picture. He had just lost another friend, Miles, due to old age and was looking for another dog similar to him. He came across our picture, and was hooked immediately; wouldn’t you be too with those handsome red bandannas! Well, Steve and Monica invited Tom to come and visit us (and them) in O’Brien, to see if we liked each other and would get along. We were really excited to know he was coming to visit.
When he arrived, Steve let us run out and meet him. I think Tom was kinda shy at first since he’d never met us before. But we made sure that he was welcome, and we played outside for a while. Steve and Monica showed Tom one of our tricks, the one where we jump and try to catch the water from the hose nozzle when it’s squirted in the air. Haha, they had to remind Tom to be careful so we wouldn’t accidentally bite him; we get really excited and sometimes forget which direction we’re jumping. Monica even got some of our treats so Tom could give them to us. Tom stayed for a long time that day, it was actually getting dark by the time he left.
Well, we liked Tom and he liked us, and everyone agreed we could go and live with him. We spent a few more days with Steve and Monica so they could say goodbye, then Steve drove us down to Orlando where Tom lived. The rest is history. Just after we moved in, we decided that Tom’s bed was the perfect size for us. He had to remind us that we had to share it – with him! Haha.
Jasper found a better place to sleep, personally, I think he’s a little silly!
